"We have a household of 4 cats! My oldest being almost 14 yrs old, even though we already had them on a grain free diet and a different brand my elder cat was throwing up her food and then became some what anorexic. It alarmed us as she was loosing weight and she wasn't an overweight cat! Several trips to the Vet really didn't produce any good results, blood work looked "great" for her age. Finally the Vet suggested that we try her on a special diet -- she was thinking that over time my poor Lacy was allergic to Chicken and fish. Well anyone who has cats and tries to change their food KNOWS how challenging that is!! We scoured looking for alternatives and found this product, which is Duck, Turkey, and they have a rabbit formula. Since I have 4 cats, I can't just change one...I have to change them all! Needless to stay ...I first introduced the food to my cats and they eagerly ate up the pieces I offered them. I started mixing it in with their old food (which was a blue buffalo GF mix)...and we have completely converted over to Nature's valley. My elder cat is doing SO much better since making the switch, we have not found any random puked up food piles around the house. We will blend a variety of the mixes to offer up diversity, in addition to a healthy wet food they all eat. I definitely believe in a rotation diet so that your pets system doesn't get too used to one protein source. I will definitely say that they all are doing well on the product, shiney coats, healthy and active..and my edler cat seems more energetic and still very playful. I can tell she's starting to feel better! THANK YOU for making a good quality product, I would love to see more varieties? Lamb perhaps in the hard food? I plan on trying the freeze dried mix to see if they will take to the product." hide full story
