Ridley my cat is 14 years old. For years he has battled bacteria in his mouth. We tried all different kinds of meds and finally steroids. Eventually the steroids stopped working. We had all his teeth removed. That didn't help so I got online and did some research. I found people who reported cats being allergic to grain and gluten. There were few grain free gluten free foods out there. The ones that were don't have the best reputation, but I tried it anyway and it worked. His mouth cleared up completely. Now I wish we didn't have his teeth removed. Recently he seemed tired of the food he was on. He also wasn't gaining weight he had lost when we switched to natural food. I did some research for a better food that is gluten and grain free. I found instinct pet food. He loves it. It has a better reputation and all is well. I'm glad we switched.
